Amazing band from the grunge era. I suppose they wouldn't be called grunge today, it's just great hard rock.
I guess shitty album cover and shitty beats and samples from Dust Brothers didn't help this album to be a big hit. Still, this is an amazing LP, the band.

Sugartooth's eponymous debut album is a unbearably heavy collection of grungy alternative metal that comes across as a hybrid of Soundgarden, Helmet, Slayer and Jane's Addiction. Complete your Sugartooth collection. This was one of the best alternative, grunge albums from the 90's that virtually nobody knows about or remembers. It's a crime that they ended up on the Geffen label who was notorious for shielding bands with a promising career. After one listen you might scratch your head and try to figure out how this band was not as big as the Stone Temple Pilots or Soundgarden. The album really is that good! The singer Marc Hunter has a bit of an Ozy thing with his voice which is why the band drew Black Sabbath comparisons.
