Fear of Fours is the second studio album by British electronic music duo Lamb, released on 17 May 1999. All tracks written by Andy Barlow and Lou Rhodes, except where noted. On the CD release of the album, an alternate version of "Lullaby" is hidden in the pregap, which can be found by rewinding the CD back before the first track. The this site version places this at track 1. The Australian version has extra remixes of the album's tracks.

Fear of Fours is an amazing follow up to Lamb's self-titled critically acclaimed 1997 debut and is further supported by videos for the tracks "B Line" and "Softly. Three years elapsed between the . release of Lamb's highly acclaimed debut and this CD, making fans of their moody trip-hop impatient. This album is SO good ! I was addicted to their first album, needing more. But I was not sure wether Lamb was a one-night-stand or not, until I walked in a store and saw the new one. Without thinking I bought it and listened to it at home. It's really different. Now, they give U a path - a big difference with the first album ; you had to do everything on your own ( which is also nice ).
Fear of Fours is the title of Lamb's 1999 album. It was a moderate success, reaching UK the band's only UK Top 40 album entry to date. This deliberate omission is a nod to the album's title, whose sentiment is revealed in a deeper level throughout the album: unusual time signatures. Soft Mistake" is in 10/8. B Line" is driven by a prominent bass line in 6/8, followed by the single note track 4. "Less Than Two" is in 12/8, backed by a repeating twelve beat phrase "needing you wanting you loving you holding you", and "Softly" is in 6/8. "Alien" continues in 12/8, although the rhythms are at times ambiguous.
