Album (also known as Compact Disc or Cassette depending on the format) is the fifth album by the English rock band Public Image Ltd, released on 27 January 1986. A departure from their previous releases, John Lydon was advised by trusted music producer Bill Laswell to take on an all-star cast of session and trusted musicians, including Steve Vai, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Tony Williams and Ginger Baker. The resulting album gave PiL one of its highest charting songs, "Rise".

This is basically an uncredited Davie Allen And The Arrows LP. Right before Mike Curb started producing a flurry of soundtracksfor Tower / Capitol Records later in 1965. These are all mostlycover songs (though a couple tunes may be originals, it's hardto say for sure, as there's almost no information on the release)The big budget labels cranked out these kinds of releases bythe dozens to capitalize on the latest teen fab hits of the era,and while most being pretty much less than mediocre inquality, there were a few here and there that were somehowas good as anything else they were trying to imitate at the time.So although I wouldn't call this great, it definitely has it's ownsort of guilty b-grade charm to it.
