Dub Syndicate was founded 1982 by Adrian Sherwood (OnU Sound) & Style Scott, former drummer of Roots Radics Band & Creation Rebel.
Artist: Dub Syndicate feat.
Originally released in 1996.
Dub Syndicate is a dub band, formed by Adrian Sherwood, which became a showcase for Adrian Sherwood's collaboration with Lincoln "Style" Scott, former drummer with the Roots Radics, Suns of Arqa and Creation Rebel. Dub Syndicate initially evolved out of Creation Rebel and had a classic dub sound until the third album, Tunes From The Missing Channel (1985), where Dub Syndicate gave birth to a more experimental, technological dub sound.
Complétez votre collection Dub Syndicate. Particular standouts are the excellent re-rub of lloyd Parks' Mafia by Mr Scruff, a top take on the Prince Far-I voiced tale of Bedward by Zion Train and the Centry mix of 2003 Struggle. Overall though its all class, ranging from heavy sound system dub to slightly lighter tracks, but all designed to really test out your speakers. I'd say its an essential bit of mid 90s UK dub history and well worth seeking out. Répondre Me notifier 2 Helpful.

KBPS stands for kilobits per second and the number of KBPS represents the audio quality of the MP3s. Here's the range of quality: 128 kbps good, 192 kbps great, 256 kbps awesome and 320 kbps perfect. Stoned Immaculate 1992. No Bed Of Roses 2004.
Although Dub Syndicate's lineup varies, its core membership is the same as that of Roots Radics, the most important reggae studio band since the Revolutionaries. The big difference between the two groups is producer Adrian Sherwood, whose over-the-top dubwise production makes On-U recordings instantly identifiable. As it turns out, the remixes of such classic Dub Syndicate fare as "2003 Struggle" and "Dubaddisaba" (by . Scruff and Soundclash, respectively) do rock hard-it's.
Four years later, the performance album Live at the Maritime Hall was released. The next album, Acres of Space, was recorded in Jamaica and mixed by longtime collaborator Adrian Smith. Murder Tone from 2002 collected classic and unreleased tracks and was followed two years later by the new album No Bed of Roses
