Queen live concertography: The Game (world) 1980. Ratty wrote: It's quite complicated, as originally the tour was set up with a break early on, to allow one of the band time off for personal events. Before the tour circumstances with the band member changed and the break was not needed. But it was too late to change everything. So we did have a break after Oakland and resumed in Memphis. There was a second break in the tour which was after the show in Toronto. And the tour re-started in Milwaukee - definitely no show at that time in Rochester. The Queen Album is a solo cover album of the band Queen by Elaine Paige. It was released in 1988 and peaked at No. 51 in the UK in November 1988. This is the only album from Paige to be released on Siren Records and distributed by Virgin Records. The album was re-issued with different artwork on CD in 1990 on Virgin VIP by Virgin Records. This is the only Paige album compiled of songs written and recorded by one composer or group
The tour begins with two performances at the Rock In Rio festival. Both are filmed and an official video is released. Unfortunately, Queen weren't on top form and neither were the Brazilian cameras so the Rock In Rio video isn't worth watching. The last night of the tour (Osaka) was much better and Queen played even excerpts from My Fairy King or Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On! Typical setlist. 01. Machines (intro). 27. God Save The Queen. 14. Is This The World We Created? Tracks played only scarcely. Rock In Rio Blues (just an improvisation).
