It Was A Very Good Year. Sinatra Reprise: The Very Good Years (CD, Comp).
If you really think about it Frank Sinatra is probably the coolest mother-f cker in American music history. Frank came from a better time, when it was perfectly acceptable to smoke cigarettes indoors, throw back whiskey whenever the hell you wanted to, and slap females on the ass as they walked by, only making sure to refer to them as broads as they yelped with a smile and a wink. the FBI followed him for 50 years but strangely never acted on anything, the fact Sinatra was thrown out of high school for being lewd and was actually once arrested as a teenager for railing some other dude’s wife, it’s pretty obvious he recognized the parlance of the time he was in and rode that advantage to its breaking point. Just like any red-blooded man would do with resources at their disposal.
Why was Frank Sinatra considered one of the 20th century's greatest singers (some say THE). Sinatra Reprise The Very Good Years is one of the key Sinatra CDs that'll show you precisely why. Sinatra fans will love this collection
American vocalist Frank Sinatra has recorded 59 studio albums and 297 singles in his solo career, spanning 53 years. Sinatra signed with Columbia Records in 1943; his debut album The Voice of Frank Sinatra was released in 1946.

Billy May's arrangements of up-tempo classics sway and stomp, supporting the sound of a singer just stretching into his prime. Frank Sinatra & Count Basie Sinatra-Basie.
