Wednesday 22nd March saw the second cathedral performance of the school year for the Chapel Choir following the invitation to sing at Chichester Cathedral in November. 35 members of the Chapel choir combined beautifully to sing a varied programme of liturgical music which included Stanford’s setting of the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis in Bb alongside Howells’ evocative anthem Like as the Hart desireth the waterbrooks. It was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to experience one of the country’s iconic cathedrals and sing in a magnificent acoustic.
